Louise Drescher

Rossland BC

 

Louise was born in Toronto and received a Masters of Art

from the University of Toronto in Medieval Art and Literature.

She started painting in London, England and had two exhibitions there before moving to Chicago, Illinois where

she continued to paint and exhibit.

Louise moved to Rossland BC in 1994 and has been an active member in Community Arts.  In 2005 she started the

Firehall Gallery co-operative in Rossland which later became the Rouge Gallery.

Louise currently paints in her studio and exhibits her work

in regional galleries and shows.
